Download and Install JLR diagnostics on the FZ55 MK3
When the Panasonic settings have been completed it is ready for the JLR software to be downloaded and installed. For more information on setting up a JLR approved Panasonic machine select the link below;

Before you start you will need:
- A power supply for the FZ55
- Any outstanding Windows updates must be completed
- If Windows has any outstanding updates this will appear as a red dot on the arrows icon in the toolbar in the bottom right of the PC main screen
- A Wifi connection
Step 1 - Download the Installation files
- From the start up screen open the web browser, search and open JLR TOPIx.
- From the TOPIx Home Page select the TOPIx Links Page tab on the bottom left corner of the screen,
- Download the applications listed below, which are required for new set-up:
- Chrome Download

Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI) Drivers for TOPIx
- Diagnostic Device Agent (DDA)
- JLR Launcher

VCI Controller Area Network (CAN) Logger
- If Microsoft blocks any of the files follow the instructions below;
- Microsoft will display another error a message, for example Make sure you trust JLR Launcher before you open it, select the Show more pull down arrow, and then select Keep anyway.
- Microsoft may stop one or more of the downloads with an error message, for example; JLR Launcher is not commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust JLR Launcher... Select the three dots to the right of the message, and then select the option Keep.
- Repeat this procedure for all other blocked file downloads.
Step 2 - Install the files onto the FZ55 MK3
- The .exe files now appear in the downloads
- MTS663_Setup_(version no.).exe (Bosch VCI Drivers)
- JLR-TOPIx-Diagnostic-De....Agent-Installer-(version no.).exe (TOPIx Cloud)
- JLR_VCI_Logger_(version no.).exe (CAN Logger)
- JLR Launcher (JLR Launcher)
- ChromeSetup.exe (Chrome)
- Install all five executable files (.exe's) onto your FZ55, by selecting the blue open file link next to each of the downloads.
- Install the Bosch VCI Drivers - MTS663_Setup_(version no.).exe - this has an approximate load time of 30 seconds
- Install TOPIx Cloud JLR-TOPIx-Diagnostic-De....Agent-Installer-(version no.).exe - this has an approximate load time of 240 seconds (including updates)
- Install CAN Logger JLR_VCI_Logger_(version no.).exe. After VCI_Logger is installed, to complete installation of the logger config file go to desktop and select the cog icon titled JLR_VCI_L... The icon will disappear from the desktop after it has installed. This has an approximate load time of 48 seconds
- Install JLR Launcher - has an approximate load time of 230 seconds. The system will reboot during this step.
- Install Chrome ChromeSetup.exe. Select Do not sign in to Chrome - this has an approximate load time of 30 seconds.
- When Chrome is installed set Chrome as your Default Browser.
- Go to the - windows symbol in the tool bar/settings/Apps/Default apps Select 'Chrome' and then select 'Set default'.
- The JLR Launcher page will now appear with the installed icons. Any other JLR diagnostic tools can also be installed to appear in this page.
